Synergistic Activities
For more than 13 years, I’ve worked with Denny Davis (WSU) and others to develop engineering design assessments for undergraduate classroom (freshman to senior level) and program use. This work has been funded through numerous NSF grant awards.
I have and continue to work on various STEM-related projects across Washington State. This work includes ways to evaluate the impact of informal science education efforts in the Yakima Valley, assessment of a math-science partnership grant to develop the science inquiry teaching capacity of middle school science teachers in eastern Washington, and the impact of after school programs on math and science achievement for K-12 students across the state. This work is externally funded through grants and contracts.
