Professional Bio

Minda Borun is the Director of Research and Evaluation at The Franklin Institute Science Museum in Philadelphia and principal of Museum Solutions, offering exhibit and program evaluation, planning, and staff training for numerous museums, organizations and federal agencies. Borun has conducted exhibit and program evaluation and learning research for over three decades. She served three terms as chair of the AAM’s Committee on Research and Evaluation. She was a founding member and ten year member of the board of The Visitor Studies Association. Borun did graduate work in Anthropology at Columbia University and conducted field research in a village community in South Asia.
